Nocturne revisited

I came across this older nocturne painting of mine with a renewed interest in it. I want to revisit the theme and work on a larger painting. My intention would be to work on a series of studies or finished works to further my understanding of values. This almost limited range of color should be great for seeing subtle shifts not only in values but contrast and hue .
I still have a view more snow scene on the easel. I can't let that go just yet. I love the stark contrast in the lights and grays.
