Canva Paper

I found this canvas paper pad from Canson and found that I like the texture, It's been years since I've used a paper ground to paint on. If you haven't used this product before give it a try and see what you think.

The image above is a good friend of mine that invites several artist every year to camp out on his property in eastern Oregon. Dave and his wife along with their family basically take care of all us as we paint for four days none stop.
Thank's Dave ( AKA Laszlow )

That is an awesome painting of Dave! You really captured him Mike, great job! Although if you really wanted to "perfect" the painting you would add him sipping on an adult beverage, now that would truly capture him! ;-)

This is fantastic. Love the warm colours and flashes of what looks like a coloured ground at the bottom of the pieces. Excellent!

Have to agree with Kevin about the adult beverage with Dave -- be fun to camp & paint with you guys...
